Task settings

Overview

Now the next tab is Task settings, you can refer the below mentioned image:

Location verification: Location verification is a feature that can be enabled in a software application or system used to manage field staff. When this feature is activated, the system will verify the physical location of the field staff before allowing them to check-in for their visits. By enforcing location verification, organizations can ensure that field staff are actually visiting the locations they are assigned to and prevent fraudulent activity such as checking in from a different location. This helps to improve accountability and transparency in field operations and ensures that resources are being used effectively.

You can refer the mobile app screenshots mentioned below, in the first image the location verification is off and in second image the location verification is on:

Location distance: The location distance feature is designed to ensure that field staff are physically present within a certain distance from the designated store or location when they check-in for their visit. This maximum allowable distance can be configured in the admin panel, and typically, organizations can set it to an appropriate distance based on their needs.

Task completion setting: This setting allows users to specify which tasks they are able to mark as complete using the mobile application. This setting includes different options, such as allowing users to mark future tasks as complete, mark past tasks as complete, or mark all tasks as complete using their mobile app.

Retailer visibility: This setting determines which stores will be visible to a particular field staff member in their mobile application. There are three options available under this setting:

  1. "All retailers": If this option is selected, the field staff member will be able to see all retailers in their app, regardless of assignment or location.

  2. "Assigned retailers only": If this option is selected, the field staff member will only be able to see the retailers that are assigned to them specifically. Markets can be assigned to them by going to the market allocation feature.

  3. "Retailers of assigned zone": If this option is selected, the field staff member will be able to see all the retailers within their assigned zone, regardless of specific assignment. To set zones and manage zones you can go to Zone manager feature.
